Le Pilote - Animation

Bonjour bonjour!

Hey hey there! This is a short animation (2.5 secondes) of a character of mine. It's nothing really. I just wanted to make him move a bit. All done in Flash. Maybe I'll add what he's affraid of some times. Any ideas??

Illustration pour roman - Novel illustration

Hilo!

This illustration was done for the cover of the children novel Eolia, Princesse de Lumière Tome 5, at Éditions Pierre Tisseyre. I'm particularly proud of the water painting. ^_^ This job was one of the reason I wasn't posting anything this automn. Busy busy!

Un autre gribou - Another doodle

Here's a small doodle I did while my computer was loading as I was working on something else. ^.^

Court métrage d'animation - Animation short

Rebonjour!

****

Here is mostly the explication why I didn't seem productive this year. The thing is I've been working on an animated short all this time! ^^ And now the presentable stuff just starts being done. So here is some part of it. Some model sheet of the main character.

I'll post more of it, once I finish it. Stay tuned!

Sketchbook hein??

I'm back at what this blog was at first supposed to be: my online sketchbook... I've only been posting completed worked lately, and well, usually I tend more to let everything at the sketch form O_o bad habit... So here are some random stuff I drew while riding the bus home.

Oui oui! Pas une commande la! Un dessin juste pour moua! ^^

Wow, did I really finished an illustration I made just for me?? No request, yeah my own drawing woot! ^.^

Un autre film??

Alors voila, j'me décide a poster un autre truc.

This is screenshots of an animation test I did. I'm working on an animation short, and I was trying some stuff in Flash. I'll post the real video once I figure out how to do that ^__^

Hey wow, I actually figured out how to do that! Link, yay!

C'est pas l'Halloween! This is not Halloween O_o

Vieux vieux! Mais étonnament, je l'aime toujours. Alors j'le poste!

This is something I made not last Halloween, the one before. So old! But strangely... I still like it. So here it goes!

L'ordinateur mort, et le storyboard - The dead computer and a storyboard

Ok so from now on, thsi blog is going to be bilingual ^^ But after wrting all of the stuff in french, I'm feeling a bit lazy of writing it again in english O_o Maybe it's gonna become a fully French written blog... anyway. So I found some samples of my storyboard while trying to save the remaining datas of my recent hard drive crash muhhhhh ;_; Stupid comupter.. Anyway ^^ You can watch the final result in a post I published earlier. Enjoy!

>___<

I forgot my password.... and user name... wowow! ^^ Meanwhile, I moved to a new city, bought a lil kitty and drew some stuff too ^.^ Busy busy!!!

This drawing was a doodle I made in one of my anatomy class last year. Just found it back while I was unpacking my stuff. I had a bit of color just for fun. So here it goes. I would like to write more stuff, but my kitty is attacking my hands one the keyboard, and the screen and my tablet pen and... now is sitting on my tablet (i never use the mouse...)

Sitting by the Giant Tree

I made this digital painting a year ago.

Oh, and I've been adding more and more people to my blog links. I feel like I'm collecting pokemon, but it's really awsome artists instead... Gotta catch them all!

Illustration covers

I think I'm kind of getting along with that Blogger thingy now. I've been traveling from blog to blog and I felt on so many great artists! I think I've never been so inspired now than before! Each day I'm adding more and more people in my artist blog. This is more a reminder for me to check them again to see their new stuff, but feel free to take a look, they're worth it!

Today, I decided to add three images I did as my first professional illustration work. There were the covers for three children novels called Eolia, princesse de lumière, by Fredrick D'Anterny. A french novel.

It was really nice as my first experience with an editor. Really formating, especially with the deadlines! O_O I had to make three novels, with 12 grey tones illustrations and 13 small other ones each book, in 2 months and a half... As I was working full time in an animation studio -__- ... I forgot what was life like. BUT! I so greatly improve during these months! ^^ I'd do that again anytime!! ^____^

Graduation animated short - Chaleur d'hiver

I made last year as my graduation project. I made everything, evem music. It was my biggest challenge in my whole life! I just can't wait to make another one. (thing I am working on as I'm writing now). This one was 1 min long. I hope to make a longer one... maybe 10 minutes? O_o

Here are some screen shots:

And here is a link to the movie. You better check the quick time version. The avi's sound is a bit off the image. Enjoy!
